Description

Impressive Art Nouveau Serving Tray from Villeroy & Boch.  Backstamp indicates it was made before 1909, in Dresden Germany.  The blue and white porcelain bottom is securely fastened to a handled metal frame which has cutouts.  The style was known as Jugendstil in Germany during the 1890's-1910's.
These oval trays are pretty rare to find these days,
About 19 1/2" Long Handle to Handle, 12" wide, and 3/4" Deep.
Has Metal ball feet.
Condition:  Does have issues:  Metal has discoloration, perhaps rust in places.  Crazing and discoloration on the porcelain.  There is also a crack, which visible on both top and bottom, running across the width. Please see the 8th picture.  The faint crack runs just above the white arch. There doesn't seem to be any "play" or separation.  Apparently, the porcelain is secure in the metal frame.  I have not tried to clean at all.
