Vintage Ohaus Dial-a-gram scale 1600 gm capacity.
First let me say that this is in fine working condition, with all additional weight (2,) (500g disks) and nil set balancing counter weight. The dial-a-gram feature makes it very handy for any bulk work (same weight over and over again). This is left over from my college chemistry classes (late 70s) and looking at the pictures the first you will notice is that it is dirty, not rust, just years of accumulated dust from sitting around. I decided to let you have the joy of wiping it clean and maybe adding a drop of oil or two. Even if you did not clean it up it would work fine for you. I took plenty of pictures to help you decide, it served me well for many purposes. You may wonder why the opening bid is so low? Because I believe that ebay is for bidding, not just buying. Finding interesting things that one wants to pass on to interested people and so there you have it… I can’t control much about the bidding process and related costs other than set a fair opening bid.
