    Up for auction is a vintage 1938 transit token from the San Francisco Market Street RY. CO.
    One side of the coin states:” Good For One Fare San Francisco.”
    The reverse side states” Samuel Kahn President MARKET ST. RY CO.”
    The weight is 2.7 grams and the size is 16.4 mm (5/8 inch in diameter).
    The thickness is 1.6 mm.
    According to the online Numista site, the token has a rarity index of 78 --
    0 being very common and 100 meaning it’s a rare coin according to Numista members.
    The token is in used condition. Please see the photos for the actual condition.
    This token belonged to my grandparents who lived in San Francisco.
    Now it’s time to sell this vintage item to a deserving buyer so I can clean out my closets…one item at a time
