This listing is for a brand new, Victor Reinz brand, oil filter housing gasket for many BMW applications as listed in the compatibility guide.  It is a black-colored, asymmetrically-shaped soft rubber gasket that fits into the groove of the oil filter housing.  This gasket measures approximately 3.75" x 3", and is 0.17" (4.3mm) thick.  Packaged in a clear ziplock bag.

Tech Notes:
If you see an oil leak from the oil filter housing area, this gasket is a common problem. Over time, the rubber gasket becomes compressed, hard and brittle, giving rise to oil leaks. Gasket sealant (like RTV silicone) is not necessary when installing this oil filter housing gasket.  All surfaces should be clean and free of debris prior to installing a new gasket.
