    Description

    This is a Villeroy & Boch of Mettlach, Germany 7.5" octagonal plate made in the early 1900's.  The plate features an art deco elderberry geometric pattern.  The plate is stamped on the back with the Mettlach "Old Tower", a "VB", :Ges Gesch",  Reg. US Patent Office, Made in Germany, the form number 3096 V,and the numerals I  and 2 and 14.
    I believe the the date mark 2 and 14 means it was made in the 2nd week of 2014.  The plate is in a semi matte finish of navy, cream and beige.  This plate is in very good condition with no chips or scratches.   See pictures
