Lovely St. Apollonia Saint Medal with 24 Inch Necklace

This is a Wonderful St. Medal of Saint Apollonia on a 24 inch silver tone metal chain necklace with a clasp. The St. Medal has the image of St. Apollonia on the front with her name. On the back of the St. Medal it reads, "Pray for Us." The St. Medal is approximately 1 inch tall and 1/2 inch wide. A blue pouch and a holy card of Jesus are included with the St. Medal and the necklace. This is a nice item and it also makes a nice gift. Thank you so much for looking!
I was not very familiar with this Saint. Apparently she was an early Christian in Egypt who would not give up being a Christian so she was tortured by means of having her teeth smashed and knocked out. She still would not give up her faith. They threatened to burn her so she jumped in the fire herself for her faith. Her courage and faith converted many people to Christianity. She is the Patroness for those who suffer with dental problems. I love this Saint after learning about her! I won't complain so much when I have my next dental appointment!
