THIS IS THE FIRST ORIGINAL DOLL MADE OF THE 2 VERSIONS IN THE ONLY YEAR THEY WERE MADE.
The difference between  first half & the second half for production 1 year only is
This is the first one of the first half (THE ORIGINAL) that tear can not removed unless you pull out the tear but I dont recommend it!
they tried to increase sales then made another that the tear COULD come off very easily  unfortunately for the company  the attempt to add this feature didn't help
, and sales stayed low and the doll was no longer produced that year, so there were 2 this one is the first one they made the tear can not be removed unless you break it off, the second doll they usually fell off and were lost. both versions are identical except for that fact.. the original (first made) is this one here.. in that year it was made then ended for little miss no name.

she never ever ever came with a penny. she simply was made to hold her hand out as she is in need of love. shes not begging for money, just someone to love her and wipe the tear from her face

Clean no smoking, kept as a collection piece (my personal collection)The doll has no breaks at all, or cracks no dirty scuffing. Her Dress is her original she came with, the tear is the original she came with see all pics of Dress and Tear.

This Doll has been in my possession for decades she was bought by me from a antique shop and will come with the hang tag that was on her when i got her. I have a few of these but i am only willing to sell

Having the Original tear and dress makes them very rare both versions were dressed in the exact same clothing only thing changed in the year was the hole for peg and the tear was made to come off easy hence they made no hole in doll 2

this dress very desired as a tool to replicate for other dolls
for restoration. I have bought some lovely ones for my other dolls, but honestly they are not at all the same.. the reproductions are not same color (regardless of who makes them) nor the same fabric. these are very old dolls. her tear was meant to wipe away, as you can see in the pic the bubble in the center, that is where the post is that actually goes from the tear & inserts under her eye.. I have never ever even tried to remove it, do to fear of ruining her.  I adore these dolls, they have been used in movie's as set props and even pictured on magnates for movies on a few fridges. check out the history of these dolls. very interesting little doll. I take the time to give this detail because this doll was in my care and loved for decades. but like stated I have more, but each are their own version of this doll - time gave them all their own look. the ones played with, not really played with at all or the ones that were really loved on so much they lost their tears. I really hope she goes to someone that will truly take care of her. DO TO A MANY WHO ASKED ABOUT HER & WHY A FEW OTHERS ARE SHOWING WRONG OUTFITS AND TEAR. "SHE ORIGINALLY HAD TEAR, THIS DRESS, PANTIES AND A THIN HEAD BAND WHEN THEY MADE ALL OF THESE DOLLS IN ONLY A 1 YEAR TIME FRAME. THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM BECAUSE NO ONE WAS BUYING THEM, AS THE DOLLS SEEMED MORE SCARY THAN SAD". LOTS OF INFO OUT THERE ON THIS FAMOUS LITTLE DOLL.
THERE ARE NOT VERY MANY OF THE ORIGINAL DRESSES AT ALL, TEARS OR THE LOWER LIMBS ON THESE DOLLS MADE IT AT ALL.
THEY ARE VERY OLD AND WERE MADE WITH 2 DIFFERENT PLASTICS. THE HEAD & ARMS BEING THE MOST OF THE DOLLS STRENGTH.  THEY ARE WONDERFUL DOLLS IN ANY STATE AS COLLECTORS SEARCH AS PART OF THE FUN IN COMPLETING JUST ONE DOLL. I WAS FORTUNATE A FEW DECADES AGO TO GET MINE WHOLE BUT WITH OUT HEADBAND & UNDERPANTS, WHICH I DID END UP REPLACING underpants (replica's)

so again she does not have the headband which oddly isn't hard to find
, I just never bothered with it i like her hair down near her face as it is & no one sells just the headband unless its a replica.. its a personal choice with the headband because so many survived unlike the dress, tear, and breaks in legs & hips do to the thinner plastic they used on the legs. many dont bother with the headband..but again do to the fact it oddly survived more than all the clothing-
DRESS IS THE RAREST & THE TEAR *CONSIDERED THE "MAJOR FIND" WITH JUST THOSE AND THE ORIGINAL HAIR on version one the ORIGINAL
-- I SEE TO MANY THAT ARE RE ROOTED OR HALF BALD.  LEGS ARE ALWAYS ISSUES WITH THESE. I NEVER SEATED THIS DOLL SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON A STAND IN HER CASE... AFTER BUYING YOUR FIRST ONE IT'S REALLY HIT AND MISS WITH LITTLE MISS NO NAME, FINDING THAT DETAIL FOR YOUR NEXT ONE... AGAIN - THEY ALL HAVE DECADES OF HISTORY BEHIND THEM SO NO 2 ARE GOING TO BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AT ALL. I HAVE TO SAY, TO SEE ONE "MINT" IS HARD PILL FOR ME TO SWALLOW.. THESE WERE DESTROYED AFTER FAILED SALES OF THAT 1 YEAR OF MAKING THEM. ALSO PEOPLE HAVE MYTHS THAT (JUST ARE THAT)
THIS DOLL WAS NOT MADE IN YEARS SPANNING PAST THE 1 IT ENDED SAME YEAR MADE..
THEN DOLLS LEFT OVER WERE A LOSS AND SIMPLY DESTROYED USING THE PLASTICS FOR OTHER TOYS. -- WITH THE ORIGINAL VERSION (PEGGED TEAR) AND THE SECOND THAT YEAR THAT USUALLY FELL OFF. THOSE ARE THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS AND ONLY VERSIONS MADE THAT YEAR AND SHE WAS ONLY MADE THAT YEAR & NO OVERSTOCK, THEY WERE DESTROYED.   :)  questions? I have answers :)
