WHAT IS A MELODICA?
ANSWER
:
The melodica is a free-reed instrument similar to the pump organ and harmonica. It has a musical keyboard on top, and is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole in the side of the instrument. Pressing a key opens a hole, allowing air to flow through a reed. The keyboard usually covers two or three octaves. Melodicas are small, light, and portable. They are popular in music education, especially in Asia.

The Melodica ALTO, cosmetically looks okay there is some little specs of white on top by mouthpiece area, on the back towards the sides looks like some wear from resting or sliding into the case see photo #11. I do not have
mouthpiece, but
you can still blow and the keys make appropriate sounds and tones. I have friend who plays
guitars
and knows something about this and says very nice and can still be played
someone
took some care because many times these are damaged or not cared for.
