Pre 1964 when MTA became MBTA.
Canadian printed Tokestrip with 5 days of tokens. Excellent condition and not an easy find
The cardboard is Canadian, but these MTA tokens are from Boston’s MTA system.
Cardboard has some marks and creates but is intact
A work week Tokestrip was a marketing idea to sell more tokens and make it easier for workers to purchase and hang on to their tokens
Tokestrip was a short lived marketing idea to sell more tokens and make it easier for travelers to hang on to their tokens. But it wa cardboard, so it fell apart. Tokestrip was replaced with plastic and metal holders. As you see in the last photo
