Description
This is a lovely one of a kind teapot cream and sugar. I haven't found any of these 3 items in my searches. The teapot is missing its lid but there are no chips to be found on any of the pieces. There is 1 hairline at the bottom of the creamer which does not go through to the inside. Can be seen in last photo under the Rd letters, a vertical line. There is lots of gold loss on these pieces but that only adds to the charm. These are from the early 1900's made by Coalport in England and sold by Higgins and Seiter. They are done in scalloped shells with coral for handles and at the top of the shells on the side. There are discoloration spots on the inside of all 3 pieces. I tried to show in photos. The teapot measures 5 3/4" from spout to handle edge and 4" tall. This is a demitasse pot. The sugar bowl measures 2" tall and 3" round. The creamer measures 3 1/8" from spout to handle and just shy of 2.5" tall. Please feel free to ask questions and thank you for visiting our store.
