Antique Bisque Baby Doll Made in Japan - no legs

Description

I found this little dear at an estate sale but unfortunately she has no legs.  I taped these jeans to her stomach and stuffed the longer part of the jeans into her pant legs  to make it appear she has legs.  The little blue material for the top is very scant and barely goes around her.  I think blue compliments her blue eyes and makes them stand out. I have enclosed a little piece of blue ribbon and thought it could be folded under and sewed to each side of top of  blouse to hold up the top,  (Pic #5).   I have also changed out the pink hair  bow for a blue one. So one could try to find replacement legs, or somehow make cloth legs and let her continue to wear long pants.   Or maybe a doll hospital would have some legs to work.  Anyway, I thought she had such a cute face that I wanted to try to save her and not just throw her away.  She has just been sitting on a shelf in my doll room and no one has even commented that she has no legs.  Thanks for looking!!    Almost forgot, she measures from her head down to bottom of pants about 7.5".
