    Description

    This lot is an electric trolley token from Altenberg Germany c
    ataloged as Germany 40-AJ
    in Smith's 1990 catalog, the token is 20mm, octagonal struck in brass.  The obverse and reverse are consimilar having a very nice pictorial of an early electric trolley car. This piece is in much better condition than usually seen and will be a great addition to anyone's Germany or transit collection.
