The authors are John L.Feirer and Gilbert Hutchings both were professors at Western Michigan University in the Industrial Education department. The book has been used as a textbook for many years in high schools,trade schools and at the university level.  This profusely illustrated book  is 9.5" x 7.5" and is in excellent condition.The covers are nice and the pages are white,crisp and without dog-ears or marks of any kind. I believe it has spent all of its life on a bookshelf.  This book was written for high school reading level. The table of contents is 4 pages long and covers so much including planning,materials,step by step procedures and has a section on upholstery too. There are plans, tips and just so much more that surely somewhere in 512 pages is something a woodworker will find useful. I ship using a box not a envelop.
