1960s Bisque 5” Baby Doll

Description

This doll was a gift sometime in the late 60s. Each body part is made of bisque china; the hair, eyes, libs, and eyebrows are painted on, and the back of the body is stamped “Japan.” The elastic holding the head to the body is a bit stretched out, so although the doll is fully connected when just lying there, it’s easy to pull each part away from the body. Clothing includes a muslin diaper, an overskirt, a dress and a bonnet with a pink ribbon. The dress is yellowed from age. The baby measures 5” long and approximately 3 1/2” wide.
