    Description

    This is a nice collection of 14 vintage New York Subway and Transit tokens. You get all 14 tokens with your bid.  There are many different types, including some scarcer ones. 5 early 1950's small size cut out subway tokens, 2 larger size cut out subway tokens from the 1970's (NOTE that 1 of the large size cut out tokens is the scarcer Large Letter variety that can be distinguished by NO HOOK on the C in NYC),  2 larger size subway tokens from the 1980's with no cut out, 1 1979-1980 Diamond Jubilee 75th Anniversary NYC Subway token, 1 Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority token, 1 "pentagram" cutout token, and 2 "SJD" Bullseye tokens that were first issued in the 1980's, (These tokens have the letters "SJD" under GOOD FOR.  It is reported that the "SJD" are the initials of Sylvester J.
